Security

The Security page controls how people get into your workspace, and who’s allowed to invite them.

Turn on the invite link and anyone who has it can join the workspace without an individual email invite — useful for onboarding a group at once. Copy the link to share it. If you need to shut it down, turn it off (it stops working immediately) or regenerate it, which invalidates the old link and issues a new one — anyone who only had the old link can no longer use it.

Add a company email domain here to let anyone who signs up with a matching address join the workspace automatically, as a member, with no invite needed. Adding a domain doesn’t do anything by itself — you have to verify you own it first: send a verification email to a mailbox at that domain, then confirm from the link it receives. Once verified, the automatic join takes effect for any new signup at that domain from then on; it doesn’t retroactively add people who already have accounts.

Two policies here adjust the workspace’s defaults:

  • Who can invite members — restrict invites to admins only, or open it up to all members.
  • Who can create teams — let all members create teams, or restrict it to admins only.

Changing either takes effect immediately: opening up invites, for example, means every member — not just admins — sees the invite form on the Members page from that point on.
